Editorial Services

Please review the requirements below before submitting a manuscript.

Content Edit

A content edit involves a full read-through of your manuscript. You will receive an editorial letter after the read-through. This is the first step in preparing for publication, as it will clear up any significant issues your book might have. We will ensure the language and tone are consistent for your audience. A rewrite is usually expected after this edit and may be combined with other edits below at your convenience.

A content edit is priced at $0.02 per word.

Line Edit

Our editors will review your manuscript for clarity, coherence, and sentence structure in a line edit. We’ll make sure that everything flows as it should. This stage may require some word or phrase changes to help make each sentence clear. All of these changes will be sent to the author, and only the author can make the final decisions on edits for independent manuscripts.

A line edit is priced at $0.01 per word.

First 25 Pages

Want a sample of our team’s editing style before submitting an entire manuscript? Send us the first 25 pages of your manuscript for a sample edit. The team will send you a short editorial letter addressing significant issues while also pointing out major grammatical errors to correct.

A sample 25-page edit is priced at $125.

Proofreading

Once your line edits are complete, our editors review your manuscript to catch any extra grammar errors or misspellings. We do a thorough edit to ensure your book is ready for publication.

A proofread is priced at $0.01 per word.

Interior Formatting

Do you need help formatting the interior of your book for publication? Send us your completed manuscript, and we will format your book with a design that complements your book cover.

Book Cover Design

Are you looking for a cover design for your completed manuscript? Let our team design a one-of-a-kind cover for you. Simply fill out the form below expressing interest in cover design, and we’ll send you a book cover questionnaire to get started. We offer cover designs for:

Please review the document requirements below before submitting a manuscript.

  • All book proposals and manuscripts should be sent as Word documents.
  • The cover letter and book proposal should be in Times New Roman, 12-point font, single-spaced.
  • The manuscript samples should be double-spaced in Times New Roman, 12-point font.
  • All book proposal documents should be emailed to submissions@bereanmail.org
  • Please allow up to 6 months for a reply regarding your manuscript proposal submission.
